2020 — the year you could walk into a bank, masked, and not get arrested.

This is all for my kids. The Coronavirus is still alive and kicking as a world tentatively starts to open up again. It still boggles my mind, how quickly life can be turned on its head. I began with plans to build a better life for them and it only took a few short months for life to combust.

Defining this radical new normal has felt like living in one enormous social experiment. As each country implements rules, the rest of the world sits back to see how it all plays out. Through trial and error, nations try to figure out how to keep over 6 billion free-willed people safe and mindful of each other. It has certainly shaken up the complacency of an otherwise self-absorbed existence.

Understanding the problem

Figuring out how to fit in is on a whole different level now. So many people have 1, 3, 5-year plans and along comes a pandemic that instantaneously halts any progress as the traditional way of doing things no longer apply.
