Yesterday was tough.
Nothing major. It was just one of those days when the bills are closing in, funds are flowing away faster than the hours it takes to earn them and all you want to do is curl up and wish it all away.
All the positive thinking was not making a lick of difference. It was another dollar earned to keep Mastercard in business.
Regret is not something I ponder on too often, but every now and then it likes to remind me of the foolish choices I made back in my naïveté of youth that I am currently paying off at 19% per month. It is during these down moments, that I question my reason to live, why is it all so hard and it is all worth the effort.
When regret takes the driver’s wheel, it likes to make a u-turn and head to Depression Alley. Every poor choice ever made is flashing on giant billboards. Playing The Victim pub is open for business and it is not long before you have parked, headed in, and drowned your sorrows while reminiscing with fellow past regrets patrons.
