No Need To Apologize For What You Love

Give yourself permission to fully enjoy your life

I have a secret.

Well, not so secret.

I love tiny things.

Miniature items are so cute to me. They are like a Lilliputian world, shrunk down for me to explore. A tiny macrocosm that makes me smile when I need a mental break. They have a job and they do the job well.

As a busy adult, life can get going quickly. The to-do list keeps expanding exponentially. Another post to write, bills to pay, chores to do, family to care for. Before you know it, you tumbled into bed, exhausted, only to wake up and do it all again.

As busy as life gets, setting up your environment to soothe you is key to creating a balanced mind. You can go, go, go but stop is also a necessary and productive part of the equation.

My tiny world helps me to stop when I get overwhelmed. Gazing at the minutiae of details resets my stressed mind and allows for that centering. They are compact and adorable and they help me get through my day.

Give yourself permission to love what you love.

To another, my cute, tiny objects may seem childish but they are meant for my enjoyment. They make me smile. They support my day. They bring joy…
