My Love For Reading Has Made Me A Better Person

Lately, I’ve been on a philosophical kick.

I am not seeking the meaning of life but understanding the meaning of mine.

I often go where the knowledge leads. Reading from different sources and assimilating different perspectives has had a profound influence on me.

The voices of the authors, with their introspection, will pipe my curiosity. Their articulation adds to my thoughts like a Vulcan mind meld. Some days it can feel more like a Borg Collective, and takes quite an effort to silence the hive.

Now that I’ve gotten all my Trekkie references out of the way, I find that, lately, my reading habits flow according to the topic of the day.

While I would be digesting several different authors at the same time, there are a few authors whose work I have continually found myself well immersed in. I will jump back to their books whenever I am in need of mental grounding.
