Your actions are not as private as you think

I would not consider myself the “Pollyanna” type. Is my age showing, lol! However, I prefer to look for the good in a situation. Constructive criticism is welcomed but I believe that people need to know what they are doing well too.

Rather than just think about it, I am also taking the time to send a quick note of appreciation too. It amazes me when others write back. I figure I am probably one voice in the 100s that they probably get, so I don’t expect a response.

I was tickled pink when Tim Denning, one of Medium’s top writers, responded to a short email that I sent.

Cue the backstory! When I first started reading on Medium, he was among a handful of authors that I checked out. I found his early work difficult to read. To me, his articles sounded angry and bitter. For awhile after, I did not read any of his works.

Recently, one of his articles caught my attention. Taking a deep breath, I prepared to read it, expecting the anger onslaught. It was a wonderful read. Instead of anger, there was peace and remarkable insight. I not only loved it but I had to say something.
