How not to settle for scraps
Are you guilty of this wealth blocker?
Growing up on a small island, I have always heard about the “American Dream”. Television painted pictures of happy, rich and famous people living the dream. Even back then there were a host of stories telling about the fortunes made. America was the land of plenty and everyone who went there became rich and had it made.
We did not see the people who worked the grindstone everyday just to barely get by. We did not see the homeless or the single income families who had to choose between rent or food. There was a lot of hardship that we did not see and those that migrated to America to live the dream soon discovered a nightmare.
Wealth did not flow. Fame was elusive and every penny was hard-earned and accounted for. There are those who found their pot of gold but so many of us were still chasing the rainbow. Life became about finding the “sweet spot idea” that will take off and rocket us into the financial dream. Others have done it, so will we as we attempted to implement the advice of the next success guru.
I have nothing against going after your dreams as that is exactly what I am doing now, however, I came across a concept that have aided in that quest. All too often, success and wealth are presented as existing in a limited amount that only those who…
