The 3 strategies you need to keep going
If I had to sum up my current situation in one life lesson, it would be patience. With all the possibilities on social media and the internet, we are definitely living in an age where instant gratification has new meaning. With the click of a button, all we want is on our doorstep. The only exercise we have to get is walking to the door.
Marketing strategies woos the consumer with ease of use. I get that. People need to sell their stuff. Consumers, however, are still missing the key step. They still have to put in the work. No book, advice, lesson has the quick pill fix.
The equation is easy; work applied=results achieved.
The problem comes when the work applied has little to no results achieved and that is the dream killing point.
Time spent begins to feel more like volunteering hours rather than a salaried career. This is the time when you question whether you have talent or maybe you should just quit. The graph line of success is so flat that a pancake would look obese.
I don’t have easy answers, but this is what I have learnt during this time:
