6 lessons that changes my life view
What living in a pandemic crisis taught me
As I sit at home with my computer, dutifully practising social distancing, I have come to appreciate my introspective musings. As one of the percentage of the population that is more vulnerable to COVID-19, I am carefully following the guidelines. Being a natural introvert does not hurt either. 😊 So far, I have found, as the pandemic unfolds, changes that will impact how I life forever.
As a population, we can get complacent and cavalier with and in our life and sometimes, it can take drastic steps to challenge our foundations. Rarely, has there been an event which challenges all we know, trust and believe. These are some of the lessons that have been reinforced during this time of crisis.
1. When the busyness stops.
We are a busy population. The hustle before the pandemic was crazy. Between wolfing down breakfast, booting the kids out the door on time, rushing to work, getting stressed by your boss or customers, grabbing pizza for dinner, getting home, doing the chores, collapsing into bed, rinse and repeat, life was busy. For so many families, this was the treadmill that they lived daily and the degree of life they were accustomed too.
